Questions people ask before they choose.

Start with the basics, then bring your own priorities to the conversation.

Can I have Medicare Advantage and a Medigap policy?

No. You generally choose either Original Medicare with a Medicare Supplement policy or a Medicare Advantage plan; they are not meant to be held together.

What is the difference between Medigap and Medicare Advantage?

Medigap helps pay certain out-of-pocket costs alongside Original Medicare. Medicare Advantage is an alternative way to receive Medicare coverage through a private plan.

Can I ask questions before I’m ready to enroll?

Absolutely. A planning conversation can help you understand the terms, timing, and tradeoffs before you make a coverage decision.
